This policy explains what personal information Doodle's Design collects through doodlesdesign.co, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short: we collect only what we need to reply to you and run the site.
Who we are
Doodle's Design (“we”, “us”) is a design and development studio based in Bangladesh. We are responsible for the personal information described here. Questions about privacy go to hi@doodlesdesign.co.
What we collect
- When you contact us through a form, email or WhatsApp: your name, email, and anything you choose to add, such as your company, phone number, the service you need, budget, how you heard about us and your message.
- When you join the newsletter: your email address.
- When you book a call: the name, email and any answers you give in the booking form, plus the time you choose.
- When you browse the site: our hosting and content providers receive the technical details every browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested.
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't build profiles of visitors.
Cookies and browser storage
The site sets no cookies. It saves two small things in your own browser: your light or dark theme choice (until you clear it) and, for the current visit only, whether you've seen the intro animation and your scroll position. This never leaves your device.
If you open “Book a Call”, Calendly's scheduler loads inside the page and may set its own cookies, which Calendly's cookie policy covers. Nothing from Calendly loads until you open it.
How we use it and why
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project, because you asked us to (steps before a contract) and in our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
- To send the newsletter, only with your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep the site secure and working, in our legitimate interest.
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping business records.
We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data for us under their own security and privacy commitments:
- Our website host, and our content management system and database, which store form submissions.
- Our email provider, to receive enquiries and send the newsletter.
- Cloudinary, which serves the site's videos and images, and jsDelivr, which serves a small script. Both receive your IP address when they deliver files.
- Calendly, which runs our call booking. Its scheduler loads inside our site when you choose “Book a Call”, and Calendly's own privacy policy covers what you enter there.
- WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to message us there. Their own privacy policy then applies.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of these providers store or process data outside Bangladesh, for example in the European Union or the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses for data from the EU and UK.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last conversation. If you become a client, for as long as the project and our legal record-keeping require.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Technical logs: kept by our providers for a short period, usually no more than 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, to stop using it, or to give you a copy. You can withdraw consent to the newsletter at any time. Email hi@doodlesdesign.co and we'll reply within 30 days.
If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR or UK GDPR gives you these rights, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority. Wherever you are, we'd appreciate the chance to sort out a concern first.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are stored in an access-controlled system, and only the people who need them can see enquiries. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send passwords or other sensitive details through our forms.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't aimed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the newsletter.
